While traditional dance schools focus on individual dance styles, PerformX is a comprehensive performing arts hub that brings together singing, acting and dancing, the three key pillars of performing arts training. Our program is designed to develop well-rounded performers, often referred to as ‘triple threats’, who have the versatility and confidence to excel on stage.
📌 How is PerformX different from a dance school?
✔ Structured, progressive training – Many dance schools lack a clear developmental pathway. Each term, students simply learn a routine, whereas PerformX follows a structured curriculum that builds skills progressively across all disciplines.
✔ Focus on well-rounded performance – Instead of specialising in one dance style, we provide a strong foundation in singing, acting and movement, ensuring students develop stage presence, storytelling ability, and confidence, not just technical dance skills.
✔ Life skills beyond dance – Our training is designed to develop creativity, teamwork, leadership and self-expression, preparing students for both performing arts careers and life beyond the stage.
📌 What about dance training?
✔ Dance remains an essential part of performing arts training. While we can’t teach every dance style in a single class, we focus on jazz, the most widely used dance form in musical theatre and stage performances.
✔ Traditional dance schools still play an important role in performing arts education, and many students may choose to supplement their PerformX training with specialised dance classes in ballet, tap or contemporary.
💡 PerformX is the perfect choice for students who want a holistic, structured performing arts education, where they grow as well-rounded performers while developing key life skills.

No, we don't allow parents to observe classes. Our priority is to create a focused, distraction-free learning environment where students can fully engage in their training without feeling self-conscious. We’ve found that students build confidence and progress faster when they are free to explore their creativity without an audience.
📌 What should parents do while waiting?
✔ Take a break! Grab a coffee, get on top of errands, or enjoy some free time.
✔ We’ll contact you if needed. If anything comes up during class, we’ll be in touch immediately.
💡 Parents are always welcome to attend our mid-year showcase and end-of-year production to see their child’s progress on stage and there may be a few surprises during the year where we show you a song or two.

✔ Growing in high-demand areas – We want to serve communities that lack accessible performing arts education.
✔ Maintaining our core values – No matter where we expand, PerformX will always offer top-quality training from industry professionals.
💡 If you’re interested in PerformX coming to your area, let us know! The more demand we receive, the sooner we can expand.
